The Unremembered Truth – Parenting is an Embodied Soul Co-Creation with our Children
by Julie Ferris

Being who we truly are is who we need to be; for ourselves and for our children.
We know our children need our love, our connection, our nurturing and our nourishment so that they feel safe, loved, seen and heard.
We know they need us to hold space so that they grow in who they are without judgement and without projection.
But the often unremembered truth is that our children need us to co-create with them at a soul level. For this, they need us to be soul embodied. To be connected so deeply with our soul, with who we truly are, that we walk the walk, we unapologetically feel our value in every moment, and we stand true to ourselves, our beliefs and our desires to do what we came here to do.
Because when we embody more and more of our soul, our light, we shine so brightly in our authenticity and our truth. We cultivate such a sense of sovereignty, that we hold fast, and don’t let anyone or anything knock us out of our true centre.
Our children don’t want to be amongst our fears, our traumas, our challenges from this lifetime, or other lifetimes. They don’t want to be in belief systems that are restrictive, that minimise the inner power of the self. They need us to be in lightness, in steadfastness that everything is well, and show them through the way we Be that it is ok for them to be who they are, in every moment.
When we begin to release what is no longer true for us, we parent from our true centre. From this space we reconnect with our child’s soul so easily. And this opens up beautiful doorways in our family life. Because our souls have an agreement to co-create with each other, our child’s soul chose us and we chose them.
Parenting is a soul co-creation with our children. We may have co-created many times together on Earth or this may be the first time your child has incarnated here.
This journey of soul co-creation is one of exploration, expansion, joy, learning and connection. And who best to journey with than your child?
We have a clear and beautiful responsibility to ourselves and to our children, to Be who we truly are.
Invitation to Self-reflection

I invite you to take some deep breaths, place your hand on your heart and tune in…
What is present for you in this moment?
How does this feel in your body?
Is there one small action step that feels good for you to take? This may be allowing yourself more space to just Be.

A Spotlight on Meditation — The Why, Where and How of Meditation
By Julie Ferris
Meditation is a key. Imagine being able to unlock what your heart truly desires and discern your way. For when your mind is still, the heart can speak.
Why Meditate?
Meditating quietens the mind allowing your heart to lead. It’s a way to an ever-present oasis of peace inside you. In short, it’s good for you.
Behind the scenes, changes are happening to the very structure of your brain when you meditate. The plus minus effect is in motion in 5 regions of the brain as shown in research by neuroscientist Dr Sara Lazar. Here is the swift science behind what meditation can do for you:[1]
